In July 2021, Deal Me Out signed an initial one-year partnership which will see our branding feature on the Esports Wales jersey, stream and socials.
Regarding the agreement Jordan Lea, Chief Executive Officer of Deal Me Out, said,
“Esports Wales are a real force in the world of online gaming and streaming. What with the meteoric rise in Esports, it gives me great pleasure to support the team and help them grow both as a brand and a community. Not only do they provide a network of elite level gaming, but opportunities for the rest of us. It is an organization that puts mental health as the forefront of its values, and that’s something that we can all get behind.”
As most large sports events came to an abrupt halt during the pandemic, esports enjoyed accelated growth with player-pools rising significantly. With an enforced haitus sports-betting wise major gambling operators began to offer bets on esports tournaments. Jordan Lea continued,
“There has been a significant increase in betting on esports and raising awareness of gambling addiction in both professional and amateur gaming is a key part of our strategy. Having spoken at length with John Jackson, CEO of Esports Wales, about the future of gaming, and the aims of the organization, it was a no-brainer to enter into a formal partnership. As a keen gamer myself, being a part of their growth is something that I’m immensely proud Deal Me Out can be a part of. This partnership will undoubtedly be mutually beneficial to both parties, and I would like to extend my thanks to everyone that is connected to Esports Wales.”
John Jackson, Chief Executive of Esports Wales, said,
“We are grateful to Deal Me Out for the huge value they have placed on Welsh Esports and see the size and stature of this new partnership as a testament to our ability to attract sponsorship interest of the very highest quality.”
